Rogers High School Announcements




 

Please congratulate Alli Krabbenhoft for being selected to the Arkansas Volleyball All Star Games this summer.  She is the first RHS player to receive this honor since the 2008 team.  We are very proud of her!!!

 

Please congratulate Maggie Montoya on another outstanding award! She is the first girl XC State Gatorade player of the year for Rogers! 


Congratulations to the Rogers Girls Bowling Team who placed first in a three way competition with Heritage and HarBer on Tuesday night.  Brittany Parker was High Individual girl and Haley Williams was second high individual.    Also Congratulations to Cody Walker and RC Maxfield for being in the top three boys individually.  The boys and girls teams also had a match with Heritage on Thursday.  The boys defeated Heritage in match points 7-6 with RC Maxfield being second high individual for the day.  The girls defeated Heritage 12-1 with Haley Williams being high individual of the day.

Congratulations to our RHS choir members who participated in the NW Arkansas All-Region clinic on Saturday at Springdale High School.  Abbie Bailey, Alex Glennon, Morgan Stephens, Will Holifield, Maddie Riley, Bradley Board, Ben Vanpool, Sharon Vore, Kyle Osmon, and Bradley Board sang in the mixed SATB chorus and have qualified to audition for the Arkansas All-State Chorus.  Claire Heffley, Silvia Escobar, Julia Gardner, Cierra Holdebeken, Kristen Betts, Laura Butler, and Ines Figueira sang in the SSAA Women's Chorus.  Jordan Rodriguez, Rachel Doss, and Mary Coffin sang in the Junior High All-Region chorus.  These 20 students represented RHS well in both behavior and talent.  We are proud of their hard work and accomplishments!  

Please congratulate the Lady Mountie XC team for winning the State Championships this weekend for a second year in a row! Maggie Montoya led the Mounties with her first individual state title.  Carlee Rodriguez and Kat George made All-State by finishing in the top 10.  Eden Randolph and Claudia Cichy rounded out our top 5 scorers.  Claudia Cichy passed over 10 runners in the last mile to help us win by 16 points over the War Eagles and Bentonville.
