Senior Projects

Senior Projects are a one-of-a-kind opportunity to connect seniors with local businesses and organizations in our community.  Students are selected through an application process, they are placed in teams of 4-6, and they partner with a local business.  The business or organization gives the team a problem that they would like the students to solve.  Students will then go through a training process to learn best practices to take an issue, conduct research, and then formulate a solution.  Students are given the opportunity to have open communication, to tour, or even work towards their solution on site at the business for two days.  The result of the project is the students will then give a formal presentation to the business representatives explaining the solution to the problem.
